Adèle Mildred

Adèle Mildred is a Franco-American artist living and working in London.
 
A degree in fashion design began Adèle on a path that would take her from costuming, creative direction and graphic design (most notably for Emily the Strange) to celebrity tailoring and costuming in Los Angeles. She was featured in the LA Weekly People Issue 2007, The most fascinating people in LA, and was one of the 4 cover models chosen.

In 2009 Adèle moved to London where she ran the couture atelier for esteemed milliner Stephen Jones, working with designers including Marc Jacobs, Raf Simmons, Giles, John Galliano and Bill Gaytten. In 2013 Adèle set off to become a full time illustrator. She’s designed graphics and textiles for Films such as ‘London Fields’ starring Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and the short ‘Dangerous’ directed by Jonas Åkerlund. 

Adèle has illustrated three published books and is currently working on Dita Von Teeses’ beauty book and several childrens books.

Adèle’s paintings have been shown and collected internationally since 2003.
