Mark Seabrook

Mark Seabrook is a Melbourne-based artist and graphic designer, whose figurative works are primarily rendered in oils. He is self-taught but his degree in Art History informs much of his work, along with liberal doses of pop culture, absurdism and humour. His paintings are sometimes disarming – challenging viewers, rather than pleasing them – but they usually reward closer investigation with layered meanings, social commentary and amusement.

Take a look at Mark's solo shows: Behold a Pale Horsie (2022) and Fishing for Condiments (2023).
