Note from the artist on this work:

Who says night parades are only for grown-ups? Little toys come to life alongside small animals in this celebration of spring. Even an Edo-period maneki-neko and a vintage television join in: they may have been around for many years, but in their hearts, they are still children. Together, these playful characters fill the night with light, music and joy, celebrating the arrival of spring in their own little way.
