A note from the artist on this work:

Somewhere in an unknown world, the first meteor shower sends stars tumbling from the sky, scattering them across the land with a soft, gentle glow.

Two little foxes and a mysterious blue creature gather around a fallen star. Curiosity soon turns to affection, beginning their love of collecting stars. The painting’s visual style was inspired by miniature paintings I encountered in Uzbekistan.
