Artist statement:

Spiderwoman is my figurative piece since moving from Scotland to Spain, and I was contemplating the original photo across Ireland and France as we travelled. The original photo is by Dora Kallmus, an artist who always delights me. Beauty is a journey, and Spiderwoman has the legs for it.
