A note from the artist:
The musician rests beside her steed. As she plays her coral flute, a tree emerges from the saddle and begins to burn, the flames dancing to the lyrical melody. A black tortoise, mesmerized by the music and the burning branches, inches forward. Constellations of pearl filigree begin to decorate the sky as the fire burns into the night.
