Artist statement:

I use the action figure form to map out my journey with social anxiety. Growing up, toys were my refuge; today, I hand-build them in clay to give that nostalgia a permanent home. My series, Homebodies, features ceramic figures clad with wooden slats, window frames and rooftops—protective walls I take with me out into the world. 'You and Me' revisits this series I last worked on about 8 years ago and it feels like home
