A note from the artist:

I would like to make more original fantasy art moving forward, and this is my first real attempt at creating my own magical new world. When I'm free to draw whatever my heart desires, I find myself reaching for my favorite aesthetic: coziness! I have received many comments from collectors and friends, saying they would like to live in this soft, reassuring world. And although escaping feels like such a tempting fantasy, I need to remind myself that everything magical in this scene is borrowed from our real, magical lives. We pet our dog and cat companions, feeling their unconditional love and trust. We share happy moments with our friends and family. We marvel at the beauty of the clouds drifting above. Our lives, right here and now, show glimpses of magic everywhere. I know life can feel heavy and dark sometimes, but I hope we can find the courage to see the beauty, and share it with people (and pets) we love!
