Artist statement:

After the periods of isolation from Covid times and moving back to my home studio, I’ve finally reached a point in my life where I feel like part of a community again. Coming back to this feeling of connection has been transformative, reinvigorating, and absolutely beautiful. In this painting, not only are these spirits returning to the corporeal world, they are also returning to each other and to their special bond. Another moment to share together under the moonlight.
