Artist statement:

Chamelia exists between transformation and belonging.

Her flowing hair becomes both adornment and offering, blooming with painted daisies—an expression of her desire to be part of the natural world she admires. It unfurls like a wildflower field, inviting life to gather near.

Hummingbirds and hummingbird moths are drawn to her, not by deception, but by her quiet gentleness—responding to something that feels real, even if it is created.
With one eye cool and the other burning, she holds opposing forces in soft harmony.

Chamelia is not a fixed self, but a tender becoming—where identity is shaped by longing, and beauty becomes a bridge between self and world.
