Artist statement:

The  Song of Siren  is a sensual work depicting a beautiful and dangerous creature - the Siren. Sirens in ancient Greek mythology were female-like creatures who lured sailors to certain death with their beautiful songs. If they failed to kill even one, they ended up killing themselves. In this painting I tried to show the despair, the question of life and death, which is hidden in the Siren's song, that she cannot exist without destroying others.
