Pete Cromer is a contemporary Australian artist based in the Colac Otway region of Victoria. Inspired by the optimistic personalities in people and wildlife, Pete’s work is renowned for his signature bursts of glowing colour and beautiful textures, all reflected in his bold collages, paintings and sculptures.

Driven by an ever-present love of wildlife, Pete Cromer's latest show TREE SHOW showcases Australian fauna that lives, nests, and socialises in and around trees. His practice explores relationships between shape and colour and provides his subjects with their important 'close-up' moments. From mammals to reptiles, from birds to insects, every work captures each animal's personality and unique characteristics.
