Derek Yaniger Showcase

Derek Yaniger is the hot tooting, super crisp painter with the mid-century bug. He really paints like he was commissioned by a men's magazine from 1959 - but this time he's been actually painting for Outré (and for you).

He's also just released a fantastic new book "Wildsville, the art of Derek Yaniger” to which we say - yippee! We'll be stocking the book (nach) and will be taking orders for them during the show. Anyone who orders through Outré over the course of the exhibition will be promised a signed edition! Sweet as!

Keith Weesner Showcase

It's showcase central with a hotrodding flavour. Keith Weesner is hopping it up for this ace-times showcase of original paintings. Weesner's work in the "real" is detailed deluxe - carefully rendered with a heartfelt touch and automotive genius. Art fans and car freaks all appreciate Weesner's work - and it is a total pleasure for Outré to be giving you the opportunity to see these handpainted pieces of goodness.

Hunt & Gather with Lab Partners

Lab Partners are part retro-domestic dream, part op shopping tour de force, part mid-century sparks, part crafty wonderland and part storybook memories. We are super happy to be hosting a showcase of new prints and original paintings entitled "Hunt & Gather". The theme is loosely about the pair's dual obsession with flea markets and thrift stores - with imagery of star finds and sellers.

Audrey Kawasaki Feb 2009

It's official, we're blushing with happiness having recently announced our forthcoming exhibition with Audrey Kawasaki. This summer show in February will be a warm up to her 2010 Outré show. This first show will feature a range of rare Artist Proof prints, a new exclusive print published by Audrey and Outré and at least one original.

Rex Ray's super glossy abstract pieces are real eye catchers. Like some kinda mid-century inspired jewels, they are all one off pieces set on thick plywood, ready to hang. Risky Luna Love

Risky Luna Love is a new musical in Sydney with a tiki space theme to rock your socks! Our good friend Gypsy Taylor worked on the production - adding her own fabulous touch to the look and feel.
