Nathan J Exhibition - this week!

This week marks the start of Nathan J's amazing and illustrious return to Oz! He's out here for his Outré exhibitions and as a guest of AGIdeas!

This wonderful and dreamy spread of original artworks and super-high quality giclee prints comes under the banner of "City Folk". In this trip Nathan walks us along with his protagonist Scarygirl through "the big city". We travel through technoscapes of amazing detail and beautiful imaginings.

Attendance at the opening on Friday night requires an invitation and RSVP. Numbers are limited, so please respond quickly if you have an invite!

The exhibition will be online for viewing and buying from 24 March - many works will be pre-sold to people on the waiting list and to collectors attending the opening in Melbourne.

Our Street-Art Showcase

Outré are proud to be presenting Phibs at this year's AGIdeas design conference in Melbourne. Phibs is one of Melbourne's most idiosyncratic street artists with a strong style and commitment to local visual culture. He always impresses with his fluid ability to adapt and experiment with methods, materials and situations. Check Phibs out when he speaks at AGIdeas if you can but of course, swing by Melbourne Outré to see his work as part of our Street-Art Showcase on display from this weekend. This showcase presents a whole spectrum of works from locals such as Phibs and Reka, plus international artists including Dalek, Shepard Fairey, Space Invader, Dave Kinsey, Banksy, Mike Giant, Miss Van.

AGIdeas

AGIdeas International Design Week is Australia's largest and one of the most prestigious international design events. Exceptional in its scope AGIdeas will bring together 40 of the best international and local designers from graphic design, product design, motion graphics, film, new media, web design, animation, illustration, typography, environmental design, fashion, sound design, performance art and advertising to Melbourne - 1-5 April 2007.

New Angelique Houtkamp Prints just released!

Angelique's vision of the golden era of bombshells and cabaret takes on an eerie charm, along side another new print with tough-lady attitude. Take a look at her boxing girl, "Camille" and her hypnotic lady "Sapphira". Outré and Angelique are working hard on her first book!
