City Folk Exhibition
Outré Gallery is excited to announce the forthcoming solo exhibition "CITY FOLK" by world renown artist, illustrator, toy designer and storyteller Nathan Jurevicius.

In this exciting show, which moves on a tangent in the ScaryGirl narrative, Nathan will focus on various aspects of the city that Scarygirl finds herself within.  Things such as the secret/ inner workings of city life, Chihoohoo's club, cityscapes from a distance and up close. There will be a large mix of mediums including original pen and ink drawings, paintings, large format canvas prints and the Australian debut of the new City Folk blind box series with Kidrobot.

The world of Scarygirl is a vision that is full of psychedelic colours, dream-like compositions and heartfelt stories which recall fables and folklore from our shared cultural memory.

And while his works appeal to kids, this isn’t kid’s stuff.  Nathan’s designer vinyl figures and original artworks are prized collectables with art fans and pop culture buffs alike.

"A most endearing mix of spooky tales, magical creatures, folk incarnations and plain good fun."

Audrey Kawasaki
Kawasaki is an artist of Japanese heritage with a flair for gentle and mysterious visions of femininity.

Her girls of whimsy come to us as if apparitions from a dream.  Inspired by the natural grain of the wooden panels she works on, her imagery is imbued with a beautiful fluidity.

Check out the beautiful range of prints we have in at the gallery right now!
